STUMP GRINDING - TREE SERVICE - MINI SKID & DUMP TRAILER TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Scope of Work
Stump Grinding services include grinding the visible portion of the stump to approximately 6–12 inches below ground level unless otherwise specified. Removal of all roots are not included unless specifically requested. Wood chips will be left on site after grinding unless specifically requested for removal.
Mini skid services include specified grading and or utilization to move debris to and from areas on location of property or dump trailer for removal.
Dump Trailer services include delivery and or hauling away of materials.
2. Access to Property
Customer agrees to provide clear and safe access to the work area. This includes removing obstacles such as vehicles, debris, fencing, or other obstructions prior to service.
3. Underground Utilities
Customer is responsible for identifying and marking all underground utilities unless otherwise specified by GRIND CO, including but not limited to irrigation systems, sprinkler lines, electrical wiring, gas lines, and septic systems. Anything not marked by gopher state is your responsibility to communicate with company about its location!
The contractor is not responsible for damage to unmarked or improperly marked utilities.
4. Property Damage
While care is taken to minimize impact, stump grinders, mini skid loaders and dump trailers are heavy and may cause surface disturbance, including ruts or lawn damage, marks or scrapes to gravel and concrete. We do our best to minimize disturbance and markings.
The contractor is not responsible for minor lawn, turf, gravel or concrete damage as a result of normal operations.
5. Debris & Cleanup
Grinding will produce wood chips and debris. Hauling/removal is an additional service. Removal of brush, logs, sticks, and other wood materials are only included if specifically requested or agreed upon.
6. Hidden Hazards
The contractor is not responsible for damage to hidden items including but not limited to rocks, metal, concrete, or foreign objects embedded in or around the stump.
7. Scheduling & Weather
Service dates are estimates and may change due to weather, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
8. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed to by GRIND CO. Late payments may be subject to additional fees. Large projects may require 25-50% deposit to ensure customer commitment and scheduling confirmation.
9. Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may be subject to a service fee.
10. Liability Limitations
The contractor’s liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By approving the quote or allowing work to proceed, the customer agrees to all terms and conditions listed above.
